December Sweetwater Shows

In a repeat of last year’s memorable run, Kimock will bring an outstanding band of friends into Mill Valley’s Sweetwater Music Hall this coming December for three nights – Friday the 5th, Saturday the 6th, and Sunday the 7th – playing from the roots and R & B wing of Jerry Garcia’s repertoire.
Joining Kimock will be his long-time compatriot on bass, Bobby Vega, drummer Bill Vitt joined on drums by John Morgan Kimock, Jeff Chimenti, and Dan “Lebo” Lebowitz. The same band will set sail on Jam Cruise 13 from Miami on Jan 6-11, for a “Jam Cruise Tribute to Jerry Garcia.”

Solo, Duo, Trio


Steve Kimock will be playing a Solo, Duo, Trio show on Friday, September 26th at the Ardmore Music Hall. For this performance, the audience will be treated to a night of ‘dressed up’ acoustic and experimental music, with special guests Dan “Lebo” Lebowitz and John Morgan Kimock. Coming from his studio in PA, Kimock will have the opportunity to bring out some of his favorite guitars, new material and concepts to the stage for the first time.

Lockn’ Festival

Kimock will play LOCKN’ Festival with Bill Kreutzmann’s Locknstep Allstars along with Aron Magner, Oteil Burbridge and special guests Taj Mahal, Papa Mali, Keller Williams, Col. Bruce Hampton, EOTO and Tom Hamilton.
The special collaboration, constructed following the cancellation of Bob Weir & RatDog, will perform at the festival on September 5 before Phil Lesh & Friends.
Lockn’ will return to Arrington, VA on September 4-7, featuring Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, The Allman Brothers Band, Phil Lesh & Friends, Wilco, Widespread Panic, The String Cheese Incident, Willie Nelson, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Umphrey’s McGee, Grace Potter & The Nocturnals and many others.
Both single day tickets and four day passes are available.

Kimock back at Fur Peace in 2015

Steve Kimock will be back teaching at Fur Peace Ranch Guitar Camp on May 8-11, 2015. There will also be a Saturday show at Fur Peace Station that weekend (included for those who attend workshop).

Kimock on Jamcruise 13

A veteran of the Jamcruise adventure at sea, Steve Kimock returns to the boat for a special tribute show on Jamcruise 13. Steve Kimock, Bobby Vega, Jeff Chimenti, Bill Vitt, Dan Lebowitz, and John Kimock will join together for two special shows: “A Jamcruise Tribute to Jerry Garcia.”
