As many of you know, Babyhome is a brand that has been in some of the most important moments of my life as a mother and blogger.
First, on Ares’ first birthday and now celebrating my 3 years of blogging!
I could not choose another brand to celebrate this wonderful moment with all of you. If you want to know more, you can not miss the end of the post.
It’s been a while since I fell in love with the Emotion stroller but it hasn’t been until now that I’ve had the opportunity to try it and it has been a very rewarding experience.
The lightweight seat we have used so far has been the McLaren Quest (2013), a family gift that we have amortized since Ares turned 9 months to 2 years, however, although it is a very practical chair, it also has its shortcomings. I plan to prepare a post to compare these two great chairs, with their pros and cons in the coming weeks.
The Emotion seat is a single lever, which allows perfect maneuverability (you can drive it with one hand) and is extremely light (it only weighs 6 kilos!).
The backrest is reclining, not up to 180º but thanks to its two positions of the footrest, the child can be comfortably stretched without his legs hanging (you can see it in the photo I published on Saturday night on Instagram).
Design, like everything this brand has, fascinates me. It comes out of the stroller standards and has much more elegant lines, with a matte finish aluminum structure that surrounds the entire chair and less straight lines than most chairs of this style.
The hood is waterproof and the basket has a large capacity and is very functional. One of the things that captivated me is that the folding, in book form, allows you to leave the basket without emptying! a very important aspect if you are like me, that you always take it to overflow (I will not deny you that with this I do not mean that you take it to overflow because the folding will bully you more).
This chair, like most lightweight chairs, is designed more for use from 6 months and supports up to 25 kilos. Now, if you are one of those who promptly use the group 0+ to take small walks, this chair allows you to adapt it with the car seat of group 0, the Egg 0+ so that it makes it even more manageable when carrying To the baby by car.
-An important detail is that the Egg0 + (not included with the seat) incorporates the reducer for newborns, hood and foot cover.-
There are currently 6 colors available. Mine is again the Sky color, which I also chose for the Taste high chair and I liked it for being a very original tone (between blue and turquoise).
In addition, it comes with rain cover and mosquito net included.
Other details that I liked is the window that has in the hood, which can be covered or left uncovered by closing with a magnet. Ares loves to turn around and see that I am there.
It is also important to keep in mind that the harness is five attachment points.
The price of the seat is around € 275.
